Good thing for you, that you were not an OT Jew.
Better thing for me: not living my life according to the morality displayed by regurgitated Bronze Age tales.

The theology, the history, the adherents, the effects.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

I think Christianity itself is even more offensive than the message or the messengers.
Speaking of slavery, Christianity enslaves the minds of otherwise normal adults. Whenever I watch Christian pastors on TV and the camera pans to the audience, I feel so sorry for those people listening earnestly, waving their arms around, or gazing upwards expectantly at a non-existent or indifferent God.

Many of the messages of Christianity are offensive, too.
According to the bible Jesus said you can't be his follower unless you hate your family.
What sort of message of "love" is that?

It seems to me that yes this is the same type of message scientology uses...

It's common among many cults.
It helps remove people from their family, the things they know, and their support mechanisms, forcing them to lean more and more on the cult for support.

^ This.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

But at least he is demonstrating for all to see exactly how corrosive Christianity and blind faith in general are to morality.
I'm looking forward to his defense of stoning adulterers.
So your not willing to answer my question either? what are you afraid of? Are you afraid to see how your selfrighteousness stacks up against the truth?
Fuck off. Firstly, I shop American wherever possible. I don't own any Apple product, any Nike product. Secondly, there's a difference between being paid low wages, and being a slave liable to being beaten unconscious, which is what your Bible lays out as proper treatment for them. Thirdly, if slavery is a moral good, why aren't you volunteering for it?
This entire line of reasoning of yours is a transparent attempt of yours to defend an obnoxious Biblical practice with a false equivocation and red herring.
Stop being a cunt. You know slavery is wrong. You know it is wrong and your actions testify to that, because you haven't volunteered for bondage, you little asshole. It's good enough for others, and you've got a holy book getting you off the moral hook.
You, and the many other Christians like you, make me sick to my stomach with your immorality.
