It's common among many cults.

It helps remove people from their family, the things they know, and their support mechanisms, forcing them to lean more and more on the cult for support.

Fuck off. Firstly, I shop American wherever possible. I don't own any Apple product, any Nike product. Secondly, there's a difference between being paid low wages, and being a slave liable to being beaten unconscious, which is what your Bible lays out as proper treatment for them. Thirdly, if slavery is a moral good, why aren't you volunteering for it?
