In order to yield that ax, his body english needs to be different. His hands should be closer together. He is holding that ax more like a golf club. He is wearing a dress. No type of protective eye wear.

I mean, I could hurl one at somebody and we could ask them if they saw a message in the turbulence behind. I'd be willing to bet they would. "Get off my lawn, and leave the walker you old bat".

Answer: Its 2012, they use tree cutting machinery today.
Made through creation science, of course. Thank GOD the blue prints for this machine was in the new testament!!! 
I think it's quite ironic that the tree would fall on the guy cutting it down.
