The new movie by Christopher Nolan. It's at the #3 spot on the IMDB top 200 films list, and it's only been out a few weeks.

Everyone is raving about it, mainly it's originality.

I've heard it being compared to The Matrix for it's originality and the way it makes you think about things a bit differently.

On an unrelated note, my laptop died and I lost everything. I just got a new one with Windows 7 and I like it so far. It's not all that different from Vista, but the small changes I've noticed are all positive.

How do you mean you lost everything? Did the hard drive blow up, or just Windows?

The hard drive stopped... working. Heh. The only thing that I mourn the loss of is a ton of music, but I have most of it on CD. The rest of it I can recollect if I end up missing it.

It's possible that the data could be transferred, but it isn't worth the 100 dollars that Best Buy wanted for it.

Ah, that's a pity. I had an external hdd that started making weird noises and wouldn't mount on my computer. The company wanted a stupid amount of money to get the data off, but I made the same decision you did.

To be honest, I think online storage is probably the best way to go. Especially with companies who make multiple backups to prevent bit-rot and crashes.

If it's ticking, then that's usually terminal. Well, if you don't want to pay $250 for a recovery. Otherwise you should be fine.

We're going to buy one of those digital external storage drives. One that can hold 200gb costs less than 50 bucks and my wife and I can both back up the important stuff onto it. We should have been doing that all along. Lesson learned.

Twitter.

I've almost stopped using it, but I occasionally post updates. Facebook is how I stay in touch with all my friends from uni, and half the family. I can also post pics and arrange events, etc.
