I came here out of curiosity. I had ben a member of religionforum.org, but I was banned by an atheist moderator and I can't go back until two years from now. The thread topic for which I was banned was a question. "Is it wrong to be gay?" Apparently, Only responses in favor of homosexuality were allowed. I expressed my opinion that it was wrong and gave some reasons. For doing that, I was banned as a bigot.
I think I'll quit these forums and go do some genealogy. We do not even speak the same language, so there can be no meaningful communication.

Since this is the sort of thing you were saying in the thread which got you banned, I can't say I'm surprised.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

You did something that I'm capable of recognizing as wrong and yet, you are oblivious. Interesting...I wish you well in your journey through reality. I hope the lessons aren't too painful.

Man, if homosexuality is a threat to god's plan, he really needs to come up with a better plan. Maybe one with less giving kids cancer and more with not giving kids cancer.

Well that got me riled up.
Yeah. No wonder you got banned. It truly takes religion for people to say such terrible things and expect people to just be like "well, I guess that's your opinion."
Those statements, ether-ore, if you truly believe what you stated there, are some of the most evil and bigoted statements I have read in a long time. You don't get to be exempted from being called bigot and an asshole just because you hide behind religion.

Isn't it funny how Christians have to go into contortions to justify why their god maintains such an obviously flawed plan instead of wondering why the almighty simply doesn't change it to a plan with fewer holes and exceptions to the rule.
Then again, they believe in the utterly perfectly good morality of a being with immense power who deliberately declines to use that power to help his creations. And often uses that power to fuck them over. Which is, literally nuts.
