Gee... thanks... Angel
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I have not left. I am simply taking a short break, except for this post, from posting. I have still been giving kudos when the mood for reading a thread strikes me.

The reason for my quietness is that I feel overwhelmed by working and the absolute ignorance of theists worldwide that I currently do not trust myself to properly respond to any topic.

But next time eh.

How in the world can anyone like a dishonest schmuck who prays for ill to befall other members, explains away slavery as a good, and overuses the roflol smiley as he does?

He has a -29 rep there, wow.

How can I tell if I am oblivious?
Probably can't.......I'm oblivious.

But I did want to comment here after reading the last few pages of this thread.
I have never seen the mods being anything other than tolerant, thoughtful and discrete.

I consider time here well spent, but more for entertainment and self education than with a deep hope of changing the world. (Wouldn't trust myself to do it if I could.)
I hope Drich does come back. I don't know what the kerfuffle was and don't much care. That's what the mods protect me from. I've found the discussions challenging, sprightly and fun with little serious antagonism. I hope most others do as well. A couple pet theists are useful even if consistently wrong. Echo chambers are boring and lead to extremist, self righteous factions. Theists here have to be either totally dedicated to saving heathens or so thick skinned & clueless so that they can ignore the drubbings meted out. I welcome both.

So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat? Huh
