It's very true, that's why apologists fail here. It's not designed to win new believers, it's designed to reassure current ones and stop them questioning. For anyone who doesn't already buy into the conclusion, the arguments are obviously flawed to anyone versed in basic logic.

And the perfect capper, the wonderful confirmation of exactly the self serving nature of these arguments, is that aside from his very first post, aside from shitting out this little internal narrative of "oh, you just won't believe me for unfair reasons!"... Randy has not posted again here. He hasn't responded, hasn't answered any of the questions that might shake up his persecution fantasies, nothing.
He just shouted the thing that'll make him feel better about his own abject theological failures, and then ran way.

He's a shit and runner in every thread he creates. Whenever he's called out on his bullshit, he jumps to another thread and repeats the excercise.

Intellectual honesty looks mean spirited sometimes. But dems da breaks.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Its the same with everyone. They want you to just believe their pet thing, be it their religion, their favourite alternative medicine, their ghost story, their talking to the dead story... everyone thinks they are special.
Sorry. If you don't have a level of evidence appropriate to the claim, I'm simply not going to believe you. The more departed from observed reality the claim is, the higher standard of evidence I would need to be convinced it's something other than imagination, delusion, placebo or confirmation bias.
I don't presume to say you are wrong, that you don't firmly believe what you are saying, or that you haven't had some sort of powerful experience.

And like most theists, he's more interested in trying to catch atheists in a 'gotcha' than attempting to (re)evaluate his own belief system. And he refuses to understand that many of us here actually did believe in one flavor or another of Christian god. We're not strangers to his thought process. We just see through it.

Yes, I was. But to be honest, I started seeing through it at a very young age. Too young to call myself an atheist, but old enough to not give a shit.

Almost everything you said in your OP is fallacious and absurd, and we have some answers for you, and you're nowhere to be found.

I don't have sufficient acting skills to feign surprise if Randy were to divulge he's really Bill Donohue.
