So Now It's Official

So Now It's Official
The piece of the wing is from MH-370.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-33794012

Quote:Part of the aircraft wing found on Reunion Island is from the missing MH370 plane, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has confirmed.

Mr Najib said experts examining the debris in France had "conclusively confirmed" it was from the aircraft.

So now the question is how many of the various conspiracy nuts will insist that the piece was "planted" in order to discredit their conspiracy claims?

I'm crazy in a different direction. The US navy missed this piece when they cleaned up.
They'll never find the plane.

While it's a terrible tragedy I'm glad they found this to finally put to rest all of the conspiracies and give closure to the families.

I doubt the conspiracy nuts will give up that easily.

Sadly I think you may be right. Let's wait to see if people think they saw bullet holes in the wing from the pictures or something

Don't jump to conclusions. There are still some anomalies with the satellite data, which prompted Jeff Wise's wild theory that the hijackers spoofed the data, faking a southern path while the plane went north:

If that's the case, the flaperon could be spoof wreckage.

It's still not yet proven that the plane went south. If it was taken by sophisticated hijackers, spoofing some wreckage would be child's play for them.

Some serious oversights and technical misinformation in that article you quote.

Firstly, flying along borders in that part of the world (and most of the rest of the world) is probably the worst way to avoid being seen on radar - in complete contrast to the author's point. The only real way to avoid radar is to fly under it's coverage; in which case an aircraft like a 777 burns almost 5x the fuel as it does at cruise altitude - meaning it would have run out far sooner that his projected landing strip in Khazakstan.

The NTSB is cautious to a fault when it comes to confirming or denying anything! They will be sure they have seen irrefrutable evidence that it's from MH370 before confirming this. I'm not saying that I personally know the answer, but simple explanations generally trump convoluted conspiracies.

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.
