Trouble waking up

I suffer from severe insomnia and wind up collapsing into a deep, coma-like sleep after 4-6 hours total sleep over 3 or 4 days. Oddly enough, I was only late to work 1 day in my entire life (about a month ago). Now I set my alarm clock for 6 AND my cellphone alarms to 6:00, 6:02, 6:03, 6:05 and 6:07. It guarantees that I won't simply turn off my alarm in haze of semi-consciousness. It's too confusing to turn off all the alarms and the continual, annoying disruptions force me awake, even on coma days.

I don't ever hear alarms to be able to turn them off. I've woken on so many occasions with this horrible feeling of annoyance and I'm pretty sure it was because my subconscious was pissed it had to listen to my alarms going off for several hours while I didn't even notice them.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Try sleeping through that bitch. 113dB. A Circular Saw from 3' away is about 110dB.

Aaaaand ordered. I wasn't sure about getting it since I don't want to wake everyone in the house, but I can set the volume of the alarm. If I can hear this thing, it's gonna change everything.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Ha! That was gonna be my response. If I'm up just one hour later than I was the previous night, which is usually the case if not more, then I won't even hear them go off. I don't think I have insomnia, but I do usually stay up later than the night before. If I get into that sleepy but alert stage, that's when I have trouble falling asleep the most. At that point, I'll just give up and pull an all-nighter, even if I have like 8 hours before work.

Haha Yes! I'm so ready to be scared shitless awake. That's so much more comforting than not knowing if I'll wake at all.

I will. I'll do a whole review. Must be a common enough problem if people are inventing things like this.

How much sleep do you need to get by? Have you tried any OTC meds to help you drift off a little easier? If so, maybe you could get your doctor to write you a script for something. There are a few non-habit forming Rx meds that could help.

RE: Trouble waking up
You know what got me up? I woke up to the audio from this for about a year. I couldn't shut it off fast enough.
