If this bigoted twat really wants to deny marriage licenses to gay people, there's a simple way to go about it: she can resign her office and go into business selling marriage certificates on her own. The certificates would have no legal standing, of course, but that isn't my point. She could stand at her kiosk in any vacant lot she chooses, surrounded by her Bibles and the Holy Ghost, and refuse to sell phony certificates to the heterosexually challenged. That way, she hasn't broken any laws (I think), and she can persist in her delusion that she is making Jesus happy.

As a side benefit, it would free up court time to send people to prison for 30 years for selling a dime bag to a friend.

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

I'm normally a peaceful person, and I don't actually wish harm on her, not really, but a tiny piece of my brain won't stop telling me "I hope she gets hit by a bus".

This is probably because I'm just so tired of her hogging up the limelight, (the fat ass, hypocritical, attention whore). I'd love to look at my FB feed, this site, or ANY news site without seeing her name! There is no "controversy", there is no "debate".
