Randy would be the arbiter. He knows how to run this place better than all of us, so we'd apparently have to acquiesce to him. Which is what this is all about, after all.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I prefer the title "Pulling a Randy"

Why his name isn't in red letters is beyond me.

Not everyone here is interested in serious discussions/arguments about faith, so the idea of a designated spot for it seems appropriate. That way, those who don't want to see that type of thing can just stay away from that section of the forums.
And what about those of us who simply click "Today's Posts" instead of digging through the forum tree? We're going to see those threads without seeing that they're in Randy' playhouse. Sure, there is a path at the very top of the thread, but I'm betting most don't even look at that and dive right into the discussion.

This is bloody hard to do on mobile, so I shall expect enough appreciation to see me through to the new year.

This is why you don't get that sort of decision.

Sorry; free speech. Besides, how would you judge what constitutes "foul"? I've been far more offended by threats of post-mortem torture in plain English than by any ten 'naughty' words.

Again, that pesky free speech.

Almost none of your suggestions would be grounds for dismissal from employment. And the only one that might is already covered by the Rules. Hey, how about that?

And exactly how do we go about proving that we are anti-silly enough to qualify for membership?
We don't, rather membership should be restricted to xtians only. After all whatever you ignorant heathens say is bound to appear to be silly from the superior wisdom view of god. For interactions between heathens and the superior beings, the debate section is the best.

NONE of that will happen, of course.
Which is why I propose a second forum where atheists like Nestor and others can engage in higher level discussion with theists without all the chatter.
Blasphemous memes?
We're not capable of blasphemy. God doesn't exist, so blasphemy doesn't either.

OK, I got this far and - you're fucking out of your mind - I don't know what fucking universe you're in where a forum is gonna trade Min for you.
So you want a circle jerk? Isn't there enough Christian forums out there already for that?
