If you are talking with a atheist being online or in person remember this.
1. Do not badger us about god and or jesus
I must. It is my duty to save you from your ignorance... You'll thank me in the next life. Believe me!
2. Do no waste your time preaching to us
I can never give up on the lord's lost sheep. I can't. I won't!
3. Do not use hell as a means to make us believe in what you do
I agree. It is an uncomfortable topic and I feel uneasy thinking about where most of us will end up ... Be we must be mature and acknowledge it like men!
4. We get that you want to save us from some external torment but don't bother.
If I do nothing then I am no better than an atheist. I have an obligation to help save my fellow man at every opportunity.
5. Don't be a asshole no one like christian assholes..
I know!... I don't particularly like them either... But you get all sorts. Thank God I'm not one of them.
6. Atheists please do not say we are atheists because we love to sin because on your end it makes you guys look like hypocrites
Agree. I never say that. For I know that atheists sin only because they are not enlightened in the truth of God's objective morality.
7. Don't say were immoral because on your end it looks bad if you need the bible to give you morals.
No. The bible doesn't give or teach morals. That's silly. God himself instills morals into all of us when we take our first breath.

Don't just quote from some website while adding nothing yourself. There was a guy recently who said he wanted to debate some topics, and when I responded he just copy/pasted an argument from another site. he said he wanted to debate the cosmological argument, and I said even if we both agree that the universe needed a creator, that doesn't get any father than deism. He wasn't arguing for deism, though, because his religious view said christian. However, he just copy/pasted an argument instead of answering my question of what the point of the argument is if you're a theist.
Not the first person to use someone else's words to argue something, and likely won't be the last. Links are fine. Quoting is fine. But you need to use that as your lead-in. Not your whole argument.

Just don't impose your faith on anyone else. That will be appreciated. And if you don't do that then you're one of the nice ones.

2 or 3 posts of horrendously out-dated bigotry, followed by faux outrage at Atheists on an Atheists forum daring to contradict you.
What, in the name of holy fuck, do you expect?
Other than that, all good.

Hint to some but not all atheists to whom this may or may not apply: your lack of belief does not make you more intelligent, educated, mature or rational than anyone else.

I hate those kind of spin-off threads.
