Why do Deists believe in Heaven?

If a Deist believes God made us and pissed off, is he talking about the God of the bible? Or another god?
If another, again, they'll have to define god for us ? No-one up until now can?
Sounds like cherry picking of the highest order?

Or a Christian who can't handle the pressure of hell, has a brain fart and becomes a deist and all his fears disappear!
By definition of Christian you are referring to a belief in a god interacting with it's creation. Desists believe in an impersonal god that hasn't interacted with humanity, all ideas of "different gods" are from ones that have. Deists believe in god, who is simply the creator, it's not a specific god, therefor they can't give a specific definition for it.

I think you're confused on what deism is so I tried to explain it for you. Your questions don't really make sense if you understand what deism is.
Which is better:

What? I have been a deist long after I left church and before becoming atheist. I haven't even met one fellow deist believing in heaven as the bible describes it. They didn't even believe in heaven. Only in some kind of afterlife. Most of the times it's rebirth, which is a common belief with pagan religions all over the world.

Yes obviously they aren't going to tell you "I believe in heaven as the bible describes it, but I don't believe in the bible", yet most of their descriptions of an afterlife are parallel or similar to that of the bible, when in reality based on their own belief, we would have no clue what an afterlife would be like let along nothing to give indication in the first place. I also said a majority hold the belief of an afterlife, not of heavens as described in the bible, my wording may have confused you, but that's what I meant.

I've lived among them, have friends among them, have been one of them. So you must have met a rather peculiar selection of deists, since most practicing deists follow a kind of Celtic mythology and that knows no afterlife. Only the wheel of life with rebirth into a new earthly existence. Might be different with people following native American cultures. I know too little about that to really say.

I'd probably describe some of my relatives and friends as deists, because they're not explicitly theists, but they do persist with the "I just think there's something out there". I don't think any of them believe in afterlives though.

deism, theism, wooism, everything works by trying to make one get that warm fuzzy feeling by gap-filling ignorance with bullshit.

Reality is not kind and at times can be quite scary. So people often choose to ignore it and opt for what makes them feel good.

Hang on, so the Deists are lying to another deist but tell you what they really believe?

They believe in heaven so they get to go there, and then the flip side, hell, gives them something to threaten everybody else with.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Tongue in cheek or utter bullshit?
