I look at the states sometimes and see all the good it has done and wonder if I'd ever want to live there....then I hear shit like this and remember why im lucky (despite all its faults) to live in England.

Yes I know it is an arrogant and incorrect statement, but how many times have americans said similar things.

How many times must I hear some dickwad from the USA spout that their country is the 'best in the world' when they have probably never set foot outside their own state.

Personally I would not want to live in america as anything less than a millionaire because the society is geared to serve the rich, (or so it seems from over here).

I always feel so embarrassed when I see these knuckle-dragging, slope-brow idiots getting attention (see the Tea Party). It's often a political fiasco as well. Screaming "we're #1" is both obnoxious and unproductive to dealing with the real problems we're facing. After all, if you have the attitude that you can do no wrong, how can you fix things that are wrong?
