To be fair, she's not traveling to a zombie-infested rock quarry and trying to lead them 20 miles out of town.


(1) Spencer is an idiot.

(2) Older son of future Mrs. Rick is a little shit. (Can't remember his name, or future Mrs. Rick's name either.)

(3) Glenn is alive so we get the melodrama of the young family in the zombie apocalypse. Dodgy Call me unexcited.

(4) No Daryl/Sasha/Abraham and no resolution on the blonde dude and the chick who stole Daryl's stuff.

(5) Kill Father Gabriel already, PLEASE!!

(6) Enid is coming back to Alexandria, yay!

(7) Someone needs to tell Morgan that it's okay to have a live-and-let-live philosophy when it's only you you have to take care of, but he doesn't get to make that decision for everyone else.

(8) Finally we get more Carol! But it wasn't enough... I thought Mrs. Rick was going to overhear her talking to Sam and get all suspicious or something.


Overall, it was an okay episode for me.

I didn't like the tower falling. What a weak piece of writing that was.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

Yeah, what was up with that? Was it supposed to be damaged in some way? When did that happen? Was it structurally compromised by the truck back is episode 2? I did not follow that part very well.

I thought something similar could have been achieved by having the truck damage a wall panel and having that be an issue over the last several episodes and then have it fail at the end of this one. At least then it would have grown from a plot device more naturally.

But we saw with Enid and Glenn coming back to Alexandria that the zombies were just milling round. The only time we've seen the zombies push through something or push down a building was when they could see or hear someone inside/on the other side and there was a definite, concerted effort to get at the people on the other side. These zombies weren't behaving like that.

Didn't they show a burned-up, charred building earlier in the episode? Was that supposed to be the base of the tower?

I need to rewatch this season...
