Fair enough.
Who would you vote for best philosopher?
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

CL: Not sure! Deciding what does and doesn't count as philosophy would include quite a variety of different people. Jorm, Esquilax, Simon Moon, Thump, probably others that have slipped my mind...
To be honest, we have a cracking set here and to pick a winner would hardly be fair. Loads of really good thinkers. I'm stunned by the cleanness of some of the posts during takedowns especially.

That's really nice that you and others here are looking out for him. Even if ya'll don't believe there's anything wrong with it, you still respect him enough to discourage him from doing something he'd regret.
I just wish he'd nut up and do it by himself, for himself. It's like when people ask me, and they used to, for advice on how to handle some intimate or romantic problem; I don't like being put in a position where I can be potentially liable for it going wrong.
If he's likely to regret joining A69, maybe it's not for him anyway. If the fruit seems forbidden, and more so because it's attainable but undesirable, it's not for anyone else to concern themselves with. That's in the eye of the beholder.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Be silent, Satan.
I was thinking the same thing... a little red pool sitting on MK's shoulder, whispering into his ear

What grin?
I wonder what happened to Pyrrho? He was shit hot with the philosphising too.
I'd probably say well over 50% of the members here are good philosophers, for what my opinion is worth. I tend to slap kudos down on it

Poop is funny, but only in the toilet... NOT in the bedroom lol.
