I suppose that's my lot in life being a Bengals and Reds fan. I could accept the Hill fumble, unfortunate but fair play and part of the game. The Burfict hit was certainly a penalty, but despite his reputation appreciate the speed of the game. The Jones penalty was inexcusable.
I have already seen other Bengals fans commenting on how Shazier's (OSU alum) hit on Bernard compared. I think that's totally unfair. I do think that Shazier should have been flagged, but only in comparison to an earlier 15 yarder against the Bengals for a pad to upper chest hit after two steps; whereas, Shazier put his crown in Bernard's chin. Comparing the Shazier/Bernard hit to the Burfict/Brown hit is ludicrous. What follows is a full on Bengals fan rant... I cannot believe that Hue Jackson is already getting head coach consideration. His play calling with the talent the Bengals have is atrocious. If another team wants him, good riddance. Marvin Lewis has done a lot for this franchise, but I think it is time to cut ties. For over a decade, under Lewis' leadership, I am almost guaranteed a winning season and for a majority of his tenure have enjoyed being disappointed in the playoffs. With the talent assembled, there are only two coaches I would like to see lead the Bengals next year; there's no time for a young buck to learn his trade and develop a team. The two coaches are Tom Coughlin and Tony Dungy. If the Bengals want to keep the likes of Burfict and Jones, Coughlin is the choice. I prefer letting go of and replacing the likes of Burfict and Jones as best as possible and hiring Dungy. No matter what, Hue Jackson has to go. I also think that McCarron has earned himself a straight-up competition for the QB position next summer. In fact, if I were GM I would be shopping Dalton for Burfict and Jones replacements while his stock is high. Dalton had a great year, but McCarron in four starts has proven equal to the 2014 version of Dalton. What I'm saying is that McCarron's performance would allow me to improve the team by trading Dalton. RE: NFL 2015 Predictions (Last 4 Weeks)

LOL I did better than 8-8 that by going off the point spreads and then deciding which ones were full of shit and picking the other way. It's a system that's marginally better than choosing according who's uniforms you like better. It's a way better system than roshambo style, but that runs into issues when the Raiders play the Bucs or the Redskins play the Chiefs, because Pirate v. Pirate and Indians v. Indians is obv a coin flip. Plus, what exactly the fuck is a Brown? Oh, never mind, always pick the Browns to lose. RE: NFL 2015 Predictions (Last 4 Weeks)

There are only three things you can be certain of in life: death, taxes, and the Browns losing most of their games.

You have to know that only Pats fans call him St Tomas of Brady and see him as Luke Sky Walker. I think the rest of the fans are either neutral or see Brady as Darth Vader. But certainly the odds are more in favor of NE than my Skins. I'll shit my pants if we get past Green Bay.
Is there really any argument that Brady was the best QB this season? He had the most passing touchdowns, the best attempts:interceptions ratio, all achieved with a load of his core receivers injured, and a o-line made up almost entirely of rookies.
Cam Newton deserves MVP simply because he's exceeded his expectations, but on a QB level he didn't perform as well as Brady by a long shot. The only legitimate argument against Tom Brady as best QB this year would be Carson Palmer, who many of us thought was toast about six years ago. I wouldn't agree with that argument, but I think it can legitimately be made. That being said, though, you've gotta take into account Newton's non-passing abilities. I think that puts him a clear third-*best*, but I also agree with you and think it does make him the *most*-valuable, inasmuch as his team relies so heavily on him. The strike against Brady in terms of MVPing this year seems to be how much Gronk means to that offense. The comparison is that the big athletic freak Cam Newton relies on in Carolina to score TDs is... Cam himself.

Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be. RE: NFL 2015 Predictions (Last 4 Weeks)
