It's not about race. Please don't make it that way, it's not about being brown and speaking arabic, it's strictly culture and bad teachings...

The bad culture in my opinion is tribal & has everything to do with Arabs; culturally. Even Christians in the M.E do the same stuff; harassment & rape wise. Treating women badly is an Arab thing, you'll find natives from all religions and faiths practicing it.

I know about Egypt, and I disagree about your Arab Christian comment. From what I have seen, if you go to Christian areas and then go to Muslim areas within the same country, you'd feel as if you switched countries, it's a completely different standard of living and culture. The Arab Christians also were never part of any terrorist act or problems abroad, they have a good history of assimilating very well and easily... Sexual harassment is not a thing... I live in a christian area, we have night clubs and strip clubs etc... and no one ever feels he has the right to harass anyone just because they are not wearing a veil. I find the sick mentality among uneducated Muslims that if a woman is not covered head to tow, she must be a slut and hence she is fair game...

Nightclubs exist even in extreme Sunni countries like the gulf countries. A country like Bahrain has a very active underground; prostitution is legal ( including all flavors; from straight to gay ), having nightclubs and strip clubs prove nothing; actually alcohol & partying will make a harasser even more aggressive. 

 Christians might show different decorations and all, but sexual abuse is & alive well in their quarters, that's worldwide ( remember the Roman Catholic priests & children) ?

Sexual abuse itself is a culture. It knows no religion

Treated like humans, equal in rights.

In Islam, women are not looked at like "pets" or "lesser beings", instead they are a part of men, and men are part of them, with mercy running between them & men.

Just like a garden full of flowers, women are appreciated & realized, even when you want to romance, a contract between you and your loved one must be written, guaranteeing your full support for the girl. She can kick your ass if you negated the contract, cheating on her would get you through 100 lashes after all.

( Sura 30 Verse 21 )   And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

So thanking God for creating women and "love" is a sign after all
I thank God for making women. Somebody to hug when all things go dark. Yeah; that.
Islam ? it makes me appreciate them more. Makes me see the power of my God in creating such beauty.

If a woman gets raped, she gets a worse punishment than her rapist under Sharia. How is that equal? Women have to wear a veil, men do not. In fact I see many muslim men on motorcycle in their underwear. I guess it takes so much silk to cover the women, none are left for the men
