That is not the theory of evolution. The theory of evolution, at least the one I am arguing against is that we share one common ancestor and that life could start from molecules. If that is how we will define evolution, then all species will eventually be unfit once enough mutations accumulate to degrade the functions of the genomes.

It looks like we do but that is an observation and not part of the process itself. Life starting from molecules would be abiogenesis not evolution. I also see how you don't know how mutations act within the theory. I am a product of an English education system where they taught us properly, I take it by your poor understanding of very basic biology you are an American.

That's what the Creatards do in America - what other culturally English-speaking country do they have any real political power in? Just in case you placid Brits wondered why American atheists are so angry and aggressive with our Creatards, now you see why - the organized progression of educational sabotage by those who are terrified of sex has gone far beyond the point that we can just live and let them fuck everyone up.

Actually, it's been exported to the british, after failing to gain sufficient traction here.  Consider the american experience a trial run.   Just like meth...it's crossing the pond....and it'll be slicker for having had the practice.

Are you sure it isn't really expanding? There's no shortage of parents here who've succeeded at bullying their school districts to "teach the controversy", and students still have to deal with official school prayer time.

Retooling the ID turd for a culture which is already well-immunized against it should be an uphill battle in the tough culture which is Britain.

44% said creationism should be included
41% intelligent design
69% wanted evolution as part of the science curriculum.

So...just like our boy here..who believes in evolution without realizing it but -also- thinks ID is the explanation (and dare I say probably thinks creationism should be taught in schools)...so too did the UK in aggregate..according to their poll.  This shit works -not- because it plays on a particularly american folly, but because it plays upon human folly...which is shared by both USians...and Brits...and in this instance, it is a shared folly supported by a shared religious narrative. Turn to chapter 1, verse 1, of either an american or british bible and you will see the same opening lines. This is the well from which ID flows..and both societies are drinking from it.

You want us to watch a video from a creatard preacher who constantly lies about his education.?Mr Patton says he got a PhD in arcaeology ( note this isn't even a relevant discipline for expertise in evolutionary theory) from Queensland Christian University, an institution which doesn't even appear to exist, never mind be accredited to award degrees.

Didn't intend to say the folly is exclusively American, but even with the stats you quote the Brits are already miles ahead of us in leaving that woo behind. Therefore, I find it a little hard to see Britain being any easier for the Creatards. But ID is still a menacing danger, wherever it catches on.
