Rhonda- can you order a phone with an extra amplifier or speaker on amazon overnight? That might reduce the need for a hearing aid for that particular purpose and is likely cheaper?

Perhaps you could understand the science of why it is I can hear sound through my fingers. If I touch a speakers I can hear music, but it will be my fingers hearing, not my ears.

Wouldn't be too impressed if I were you. As an atheist, even the slightest efforts demand some sort of reciprocity. I'm going to ask Rhonda to ghost-write a pornographic bestseller for me. Don't mention it yet, though. It's not time.
