NFL 2015 Predictions (Last 4 Weeks)

What is the skinny on the stats now? Do I get my free toaster yet?
You won the season with a 44 - 20 record.
You (and I) will win the playoffs with a Patriots win as we are currently tied. (January 18, 2016 at 12:02 pm)Tiberius Wrote: You won the season with a 44 - 20 record. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXW02XmBGQw
Don't count the Broncos out just yet. Every postseason game between Manning and Brady has been won by the team with home field.
The Broncos are also the only team Brady has a losing record against. I actually feared the Steelers and the Chiefs more than the Pats.

I'm not counting anything out at this point, however whilst stats like those are neat little factoids, they don't really have much influence on games.
Home field advantage is a good thing sure, but it's by no means a sure thing (look at the wild card round, all the away teams won). Also, Brady's record against the Broncos stretches back almost 15 years. The team changes multiple times during that stretch (as does the Patriots). The last time Brady faced the Broncos he was without most of his receiving core, and lost Gronk near the end of the game, and the game still went to overtime. Osweiller was playing better than Manning at that point too. Denver didn't look very good in the Steelers game. They came incredibly close to losing it, and likely would have if the Steelers hadn't fumbled. It's going to be close, but I don't think it's a sure thing either way.
Plus, the Broncos need to catch the ball if they're going to beat the Pats.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
I'm certainly not counting a W yet either. It's certainly gonna be a tough game. Still, I like our chances with both home field and an opposing QB who, it seems, we've gotten into his head a bit.
Of course, if Carolina wins the NFC, as everyone assumes they will, I think the AFC Championship will be all either of our teams can be hopeful of.

Well shit. Two stupid decisions to go for it on 4th instead of kicking the field goal. We should have won by 4.
