Face it, that's just semantics to convince people there is no problem killing their kids before they are born. The only difference what the mother wants. If she plans to give birth it's a baby developing inside her. If she plans to abort mission, it's just a fetus and clump of cells, which makes the decision more palatable. Have you seen babies at various stages of development before birth. I was at the smithsonian and they have jars of fetuses at every couple weeks of development. I've also seen pictures of the aborted babies. They all have everything that looks like a miniature human. I will not post them here out of respect, but you should look at some pictures.

It can breathe from the amniotic fluid; it also urinates. At the 11th week, the baby holds objects with the hand and all its organs are functional. The fetus also develops a skeletal structure, proper circulation and nerves.
Week 12 &14
The baby can feel pain as nerves, spine and thalamus are established. The baby sucks the thumb and the heart pumps severally.
Week 15
Adult taste buds develop.
Week 16
Bone marrow forms, heart pumps about 24 liters of blood on a daily basis. Baby weighs about ½ a pound.
Week 17-20
Baby has dreams, can recognize mothers voice and it’s a risky age for partial abortions.
5-6 months
Baby lungs developing and it breathes through amniotic fluids. Baby can grasp umbilical cord, kick. Sweat and oil glands function.
7-9 months
Baby’s senses are operational- the baby can see, hear, touch and taste. Baby’s heart pumps 300 gallons of blood a day. Baby skin develops and the fat stored under the skin. A week before the birth of the baby growth stops. The baby turns and drops head first into the pelvic cavity.

I went back through the thread don't see where you asked me a question, can you provide a link to your original post?

If you need to know how babies are made I suggest you go talk to your parents.

I think the better question would be when does the soul first  enter into the baby for first time.

It concerns me because it's a human rights issue to protect life, and by simply saying the unborn are not human, dehumanizes them which makes it legal because it has not left the womens body. This is why abortions legally have to be performed inside the body because once outside it's officially human, and doctors have a legal obligation to save lives. There's some instances where the baby has fallen out of the women, and it was killed, and there have been examples of doctors being prosecuted for that. 

It's a common thing to dehumanize your victims in order to make it easier to kill them. The military does it all the time, even changing the words. The nazis did it to the Jews, calling them sub-human, and vermin that needed to be exterminated.

Nobody promotes abortion. The reference to what you claim to be the pyramid and capstone is actually hilarious.

Your claims are completely wrong about what is "officially" human, but get down with your bad self.

If you think that the demonstrable, scientific facts of all this should be dismissed, then what, precisely, do you think should be used as the basis of the conclusions we should draw here? If you're willing to dismiss evidence with a single sentence, what else is left, other than opinions?

So essentially, you just want your opinion inflicted on everyone else, heedless of the facts. Real sound argument, you have there.

I don't particularly take unsourced, uncited assertions seriously, but I'll hazard a guess that what you most likely saw was dishonest anti-abortion propaganda, falsely claiming to be pictures of aborted babies. Those guys are all about the gore and the appeals to emotion.
