How 'bout aioli?
Or do I even want to know?

Nope. Just mayo. Lots and lots of mayo.
So the question inevitably is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtOwIX6VnjI RE: Feel the Bern!!!

Admitedly, some of what he said was said by others here on these very forums before and it didn't change my mind then, but he made a new argument and I trust his take on it more than my own.So, then what did he say and in which direction did that change your mind?

Basically, he said what little Bernie said about foreign policy didn't make him a better option than Hillary regarding it, who, for all of her weaknesses, would still be far better equipped to handle it than him. I defer to his judgement on this. But he also pointed out the fact that Bernie is unlikely to win in the general election and that him winning the Dem nom would basically guarantee that the next U.S. president would be republican, given what campaign resources he's going against as a perceived "socialist". He said Bernie is an idealist and that most of what he promises is unachievable. Listen from 9:47- 15:14 https://soundcloud.com/samharrisorg/ask-me-anything-3
I am also pretty convinced that Americans will get cold feet at the prospect of voting for a "commie" if it came to that. Except when the opponent is Trump

I'm in the same boat as Minnie, with the addendum of "or that cunt Hillary".
My mistrust of her is on the cusp of eclipsing my disgust with the Republicans. Except when the opponent is Trump I'm frankly slightly amused at what might happen if the U.S. elects a republican this year after the whole Bush fiasco. I don't think the world is prepared to put up with the likes of Trump. I used to like Sam Harris, mostly because of is Dangerous Ideas presentations on determinism, but the more I see from him, the more I wish he'd shut the hell up. He's sexist, racist, and is a poor representative of atheists. It's not like we elected him, yet many people act like what he says, we all must believe. I don't mean you, Imean how theists often use him to misrepresent atheists. Anyway, you are entitled to your opinion, though.
