The wall is a great idea, look at what the Great Wall of China did to keep the Mongolians out of China.

Right. Because criminals, (illegals or not), obey the current laws on the books now, so what's a couple more? Dodgy

If a person wants to commit a crime, tougher laws probably won't stop them.

Actually I think they will. That's the whole point of laws. There will always be criminals, but that doesn't mean the laws don't matter.

The Drumpfuck names his foreign policy "advisors."

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-35867356

Quote:While some of his team are not well known in Republican academic circles, others are seen as controversial figures.

Gen Joseph Schmitz resigned from the military in 2005 amid accusations of misconduct. However, Mr Schmitz was never charged with wrongdoing.

Another adviser, Walid Phares, was criticised when he was named as part of Mr Romney's foreign policy team in 2011.

Muslim advocacy groups took issue with Mr Phares's close ties to right-wing Christian militia groups during the Lebanese civil war.

He is an outspoken critic of Sharia, or Islamic religious law, and has appeared on Fox News and other conservative media outlets as an expert on the Middle East.

George Papadopoulos recently served as an adviser to Mr Carson, who dropped out of the race in February. Mr Papadopoulos has worked as a consultant for energy companies in the Middle East.

A collection of never-was'es and never-will-be's.

The "general" btw, was actually a naval officer who resigned only to be eventually  appointed by Dubya as "Inspector General" of the defense department.  He is as much a "general" as my dog.  What he is is a fucking fascist lawyer who now writes a column for the equally fascist Newsmax.

Holy dogshit, Batman....what a bunch of fuck ups.

But then what would one expect from Drumpf?

You think a law will stop someone that doesn't care about the law? Laws only allow the government to prosecute and punish a law breaker if they catch them. It doesn't stop them from doing it.

More than a wall will.

Reminds me of a joke.

A tourist from Texas and a tourist from California wake up a genie and get a wish each.

The Texas says, "I want a 100 foot wall built all around Texas to keep the riff-raff out.

Once that wish is granted the other tourist says, "Now, fill the interior of that wall with water."

Papadopoulos certainly sounds like the man to pave the way for future wars. He's an expert on Middle Eastern oil fields after all. I'm sure someone already counts their blessings.

RE: Still don't think we need a wall?
What are Trump supporters going to do when that wall never gets built? Bugs Bunny forbid he ever gets elected. But if he is, he'll fall lockstep with the rest of the republicans. One thing most wealthy people want is to become more wealthy. Nobody loves being wealthy like Donald Trump, except maybe Kanye West. One lobbyist bats their eyes in his direction and he'll be asking for seconds.

The only way Mexico is paying for a wall is if we militarily attack them, enslave their people, and take every peso in the country. What a snowjob.

Although I probably just gave away the Trump roadmap to success there.
