Running in an endless repetition loop, I trust. At least on a bidaily basis, as far as I remember the Discovery channel until I decided it's not worth my money.

There's that as well. These technology documentaries, (if they're not one of the blatant weapons industry commercials they often make) usually try to be as over the top theatrical and "Reißerisch" as possible, for lack of a better English word. Everything's always the most dangerous, biggest, baddest or expensive thing of its kind ever. They would show you a construction site and there's a bit of bad weather approaching, and the voiceover guy would explain in the deepest, most serious voice he can manage "But this team of highly trained and fearless professionals now faces an even deadlier danger. An unstoppable force of nature that could destroy everything they have risked their lives for every day." And so on in that fashion, one superlative after another, until the cows come home
