Many of you youngsters may like spin off shows like Law And Oder, which lead to SVU, or CSI yaddaa yadda, insert city here.

But the old fogies here might remember the crossover episodes of The Love Boat and Charlies Angles. Yep they did that, but it was a Shelly Hack......... Not my fave. Yes Captain Stubing and Chris Monroe and Kelly Garrett sat at the same table.

Point being that crossovers and spin offs are nothing new............ GET A CLUE RELIGION.

The Love Boat... that's a show I haven't thought about in years. Every Saturday night we'd watch The Love Boat and then Fantasy Island. But, we're showing our age.

Make that a show I didn't want to think about in years and we have an agreement.

Now if Bryan had mentioned the Avengers, Department S or Jason King, we would be talking.

Yea but think about how those two styles don't mix. Love Boat was a comedy and Charlie's Angels was action/drama. Must have been an attempt to prop up one or the other for ratings.

I loved it as much as star trek.

Petticoat Junction and Green Acres and Beverley Hillbillies all took place in the same 'universe' and had characters migrate between the shows.

I left the US for about 16 years ('69-'85) to avoid American TV.

Btw, does anyone remember the Waltons?

For some reason I just remembered that show.

I really wanted the perps convicted on Law and Order to be (in character) on Oz. Some actors migrated, but didn't portray the same character.
