Pet pleasures

RE: Pet pleasures
You guys are so cute with the things you love! Mama wants to hug you all! I love all these posts so far. You guys are so cute.

Anywho...
Hiking at dawn. Alone.
Driving at dawn. Alone.
Washing clothes. I don't know. I just like it.
Chopping veggies. I enjoy chopping them very much.
Mountains! I adore them in all their shapes and colors.
Having a beer alone.
Writing under my favorite tree. Writing after pulling over to the side of the road, so I don't forget. Writing at 2AM when an idea woke me up. Writing.
Spending time with one friend at a time and talking about everything and anything.
My favorite IRL friend and I often go to a bar to have a beer and say nothing. I love how comfortable we are with nothing.
Being a regular at local businesses and hearing them call me by name with a smile when I walk in.
Coffee.
Tea.
A woman's neck and her hair resting graciously next to it.
A woman's thighs.
A woman's natural scent.
A woman's voice.
A woman's skin.
A woman's stretch marks.
A man's hands.
A man's chest.
A man's back.
A man's shoulders.
A man's voice.
PFLAG.
Bill Maher.
Sex.
Soup.
My cat drinking water.
My four year old making eye contact.
My four year old making progress.
My four year old showing love.
Freedom of thought.
Passion.
Lust.
Curiosity.
That moment. That moment. The one that marked my life. That moment is still alive.
Face gestures. All of them.
The way she talks. The way she fucken talks. Fuck. I can't.
Skype with them.
Meeting special people. It's like you gained richness. You're richer now.
Being simple.
Avoiding shopping.
Feeling infatuated by people and allowing myself to admire them, paint them in my mind. Explore their characters. Discover their nature. Ugh. I fucken love feeling intrigued and in awe. I love telling them. Telling people how beautiful I find them. How beautiful they talk. How beautiful I think their walk is. How fascinating I find their face expressions, hand movements... or, or posts. I have to refrain, of course. People find me creepy. I'm not creepy! Lol! I'm just unfiltered.

Kissing. Kissing is beautiful. I never ever got kisses in my last relationship for the last years. For me, kisses are... refreshing, fulfilling, a craving.

I adore kisses too Smile I can't get enough of those either! Sorry you weren't getting any towards the end Ivy, that's balls Sad Your ex must have a screw loose!

I have to keep my affection under control, because if I gave Emma all the hugs and kisses I wanted to, she'd feel rather smothered and would be unable to do anything else Big Grin So I ration them out at a more reasonable rate Smile

I love holding hands, I love people smiling at me.

I like seeing good parenting. Pretty rare, but it raises my spirits when it happens.

I love fantasising.

RE: Pet pleasures
Scotch. I love the way the flavors of a good scotch ripen in the mouth and bloom back up after you swallow. I love the mellow sort of drunk it causes because you're sipping it slowly - it's warm and comfortable. I like that when I drink it with some of my fellow scotch-loving friends, we can sit in companionable silence, sometimes holding hands or leaning against each other, and it's not sexualized at all. We're just quiet, savoring all the smoke and sweetness, and each other's presence.

Gardening. I love the moist, fertile smell of potting soil, especially if the bag is sun-warmed, and the tiny promises in every seed bag. It strikes a spiritual chord in me that inside every one of those small pods is the entirety of a plant capable of producing a hundred more like it. I love the thrill when seeds sprout, and the first whiff of green aroma filling the air when they're large enough to release their oils when watered.

I love my dog. I love how he smells and his little doggy breath kisses and his companionship. He's a jerk sometimes, but I guess so am I so we're even. I love how our personalities mesh, and the unique fuzzy comfort that is "My Dog" - that one dog that just 'gets' you.

I really love crocheting. There's something soothing in the endless repetition of loops on loops which ends up being something useful - a scarf or mug cozy or hat or mitts. It's a good way to quiet my brain down when I need to do something that isn't strenuous, but gives me a sense of accomplishment anyway. I like how the yarn feels sliding through my fingers, and the quick flit of the hook when I get into a good rhythm.

I'm not anti gun, in fact I love to do some target shooting off and on, but other than an airgun, I don't own any weapons. I'm anti every idiot being entitled to own a gun. I'm also against the hunt as a sport. If it isn't to feed yourself or someone else or to regulate a certain wildlife population, I can't see the appeal of killing.

I'm anti idiot also. Not every person should own a gun. Not only purchase but continued ownership should be regulated.

I hunt for food or protection, not sport. Sport happens at the range.

If you think that airguns can't be lethal in the wrong hands, think again. They need to be regulated also.

I'm well aware of them being possibly lethal. But it's quite a bit harder and requiring a more careful aim and skill to hit the lethal spots than with a 38.

I love it when it's not too quiet.

RE: Pet pleasures
I love the moment after I've finished playing a song on my guit and know that we've gone somewhere that we've never been before, when I have stretched my musical mind and discovered new territory.

I love waking up with the woman I love in my arms.

I love working on a project and being utterly inside the moment, where nothing exists but me and to task at hand; and I love the feeling upon completion when I see my work and know that it is good.

Something I like doing, and I know it's weird, is going for long walks in stormy weather. Getting buffeted by strong winds and a bit of rain. Makes me appreciated more when I can climb into bed later and listen to the storm outside.
