I'm wondering why BBC America chose to air two of tge worst Star Trek movies of all time (3 and 5).

Yet, here I am watching them.

The last two TNG ones eclipse #3

Heh.. I said two *of* the worst.

Insurrection and Nemesis definitely didn't rank well but 3 was pretty goddamned awful. Casting Christopher Lloyd as a Klingon was questionable, and the performance for me is difficult to stomach.

I enjoyed First Contact, although the slapstick portrayal of Cochrane and his gang as hard-drinking backyard hobbyists was a bit unrealistic and over the top.

Well, it had already gone off the rails altogether. Much as I would have liked to throw my two cents' worth in, the shitposting by a member who will remain unnamed meant the thread was doomed.

Was it purposeful on his part? Was it simply a case of aggravated butthurt?

I'll keep my opinions to myself on the matter, for the time being.
