Constable Dorfl,
I may post something in future from the Clementine Homilies.
It's a part of Christianity to use words figuratively/talking in similarities.
Absolute truth - thoughtful discussion.
Look, if all you're going to do is post empty sloganeering and idiot questions like you've done so far, why are you here?
As I've been saying so far either put up or shut up.

Well, of course - if you talked like a normal human being, it would be obvious to everyone, that you're talking utter nonsense. It's an old trick of the charlatans and the frauds - make sure your words sound impressive and confusing, but mean absolutely nothing. You need to work on the "impressive" part, but you've got the rest down to a tee.

Have you ever looked at a translation of 1 John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from someone you may not believe in, because many false profits have gone out into the world.
Be careful, maybe you'll want to compare translations of that.

I'm looking at it now. Looks like bullsh*t. The kind of bullsh*t a fraudster would tell his victims in order to gain their trust and warn them about the competition. Of course a false prophet will call other prophets false, so that his dumb "flock" doesn't go and give their money to another scumbag.
Have you ever been conned? That's exactly what a con-artist tells someone, when he's trying to cheat and rob them in the street: "Be careful, there are some bad people around here, who want to take advantage of you. Better come with me into this dark alley, so that I can make sure your money is safe."
Yeah - you may be naive enough to fall for this kind of nonsense, but I wasn't born-again yesterday...
Oh - and it's "false prophets", not "false profits", dummy. I guess you never paid much attention when reading this passage, did you?

Homeless Nutter,
If you want to hurt me by words, it doesn't work against me. Your words are like fluff.
I may eventually just leave you alone. Doesn't mean I won't ever speak to you again.
And for the benefit of other readers you may see that I warned the person about the translation, so you may see why I put the word "profits" in on purpose.

Sure you did.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Of course we see why you used the word - because you're semi-illiterate and a poe. You got caught not knowing the bible, so you're trying to back-pedal.
