They think that many or most did..but that stories of dragons "post-flood" show that people were familiar with the remaining dinosaurs which -did- make it on the ark.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Yep. You'd think it was as ridiculous as it could get right off the bat...but a fundy will always surprise you..the deeper into their stories you go. " We're right about the big boat, because dragons, eat it science!"
Just one of those things about them...they'll take a genuinely good story with depth and meaning....and shittify it in order to make it more "real" than it ever needed to be to work.

Also - Genesis says, that god instructed Noah to have every "kind" of animal (let's assume that means "species", although who the f*ck knows) on the ark (Gen 6:19) and it also says, that Noah did all that god commanded him to do (Gen 6:22). Therefore - if you believe, that dinosaurs were around in Noah's time (less than 6000 years ago), then you must believe, that they were on the ark. How the f*ck did Noah managed to get animals from all around the globe, in 7 days, with his boat being land-locked - the bible doesn't say...
