No Min, we don't want to become cynical defeatists like you. You need to pump your brakes with this hardon you have for Hillary.

Then elect Trump. Enjoy what he does to the country. You'll have to live with it a lot longer than I will.

It's understandable that noone has a hardon for Hillary, but there's the problem of the alternative. I guess, Bernie saw that more clearly than many of his supporters.

I notice you didn't answer the question.
Can you, without the expletives? Or is this sort of partisan bullshit we're used to from you all you're capable of?

Can you give me a straightforward answer? What do you think is going to happen if people are going to think like you and not vote for Hillary out of spite?

That was the answer. Sorry you don't like it but it stands. I don't know who told you that politics is a game for virgins but they lied to you.

What's disgraceful is the fact that the DNC have a rule which states that DNC officers have to be impartial throughout the nomination process. They weren't impartial at all. This was suspected all along, but the lengths that they went to to undermine the Sanders campaign is now clear from the leaked emails. Only a fool would say that is not disgraceful.

That's not the issue here and you know it. Did any RNC officials actively try and prevent Trump from winning? Perhaps, but we don't have the emails to prove it, and if we did, it would be just as bad as what the DNC did to Sanders.
(July 25, 2016 at 7:11 pm)Minimalist Wrote: It really is time to learn what a political "party" is and what it is not.
Maybe it's time for you to learn about the nomination process of your own party, because guess what, as long as you are a member of the Democratic Party you can run for the nomination. Doesn't matter if you are a long time member or (in this case) an independent who caucused with the Democrats for decades (not that that matters to you apparently). The voters ultimately get to decide who the nominees are, not the party establishment itself (although the superdelegates can certainly thwart democracy if they ever wanted / needed to). 43.1% of voters wanted Sanders, despite the fact that he was an independent previously. Maybe they saw in him a vision of what they wanted the Democratic Party to look like. Maybe they just didn't care that he was an Independent before (just as the Republican voters didn't seem to care that Trump used to be a Democrat). For whatever reason, he had overwhelming support, and the DNC decided to go against their very name, and thwart the democracy of their own nomination process by actively trying to undermine his campaign using a number of dirty tricks.
If that isn't disgraceful to you, you don't even know the meaning of the word, and you're too blinded by your love of Clinton to see anything else. Had the same thing happened to Clinton, I bet you'd be in my shoes right now, blasting the DNC for their behavior.

Yeah, the Hillary bias is a little too obvious here on the part of the OP.
That said, some of Bernie's supporters can be a little frustrating as well. Makes me wonder if they really support Bernie for his policies, rather than because he's the cool uncle/grandpa they never had or something.

People need to start voting for who they want to win. Not the lesser of two evils. When we do that, then people like Bernie will get more attention until the establishment has to let them in because no one else gets voted in. If Trump takes office, things will get worse faster than if Hillary does, and that would just incite people even more.
Many humans have a funny tendency of only changing when things hit rock bottom first. If that's going to be the case, then we might as well let it hit the rocks sooner rather than later.

I don't agree with that. I think, if you want change, letting the world go to shit to get it is quite desperate and not the best way to go about it.
