I think we are slaves to our motives, far from free.... but I find it meaningful that our passions are part of us... a fucking skydaddy dictator certainly isn't.

Well in a sense yes you can't ultimately choose it. But on the other hand we do have choices they just ultimately stem from unchosen desires.

My point was that I find it more meaningful to accept my own values and who I am than have them dictated by a supernatural being.
