UK unleashes racism?
July 30, 2016 at 4:34 am
The hatred that has divided British society in the past month features “Fuck off to Poland” letters in Tunbridge Wells, wealthy London diners refusing to be served by foreign waiters, dog excrement shoved through letter boxes in Rugby, and racist abuse from children as young as ten.
* Gangs prowling the streets demanding passers-by prove they can speak English
* Swastikas in Armagh, Sheffield, Plymouth, Leicester, London and Glasgow.
* Assaults, arson attacks and dog excrement being thrown at doors or shoved through letter boxes.
* Toddlers being racially abused alongside their mothers, with children involved as either victims or perpetrators in 14 per cent of incidents.
* A man in Glasgow ripping off a girl’s headscarf and telling her “Trash like you better start obeying the white man."
* Comparisons with 1930s Nazi Germany and a crowd striding through a London street chanting: “First we’ll get the Poles out, then the gays!”

You know I kind of get their pain because if there were strict rules toward immigrants then Yoko Ono would have never been in UK, met John Lennon and Beatles would never have split.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Yeah, well - the nationalists and the fascists feel empowered, after winning the Brexit vote - yet another "unforeseen" consequence of that dumb decision. Good thing I live in South London - the c*nts are welcome to come and try to start some sh*t here, with all the black people around. Which they won't because they're cowards, they'll just stick to harassing minorities in places, where they're actual minorities.

Nothing new tbh, they just feel emboldened by the Brexit win, as Homeless Nutter was saying. This stuff has been happening a long time.
Not to distract from the racism but I'm interested by the sudden turning on gays. This is what the Right do though, they'll claim you when you have some value to them (in this case, using gays as a "human rights" prop in opposition to Islam) and then discard you immediately once you help them get to power. I'm laughing at the gays who fed into the bullshit supporting the Far Right for the last few years, jokes on you now.
Also ripping hijabs off Muslim girls while saying "obey the white man" makes you no fucking better than the Muslim men who forced it onto them in the first place.

Does that surprise you? Gays are usually the first target of "red blooded males". Just to show they're so not gay.

Not surprised at all, just interested Because I'd love to see the reaction of the gays who bought into the narrative that the Right suddenly cares about us.

But today I signed a petition on Change.org petitioning for a young girl at school to be allowed to read her gay poem, which she won third prize for, at school.
The schoolboard was worried that some people may be offended, even though the first prize winner's religious poem will be read out.
After signing, I read the comments and was filled with pride to hear one Aussie after another, outraged at religion and the old fashioned views on homosexuality. 784 and counting. :-)

From the article:
Quote:Criticising Ms May’s record as Home Secretary, and in particular her endorsement of advertising vans telling illegal immigrants “Go Home or face arrest”,
What's wrong with that? Should we let illegal immigrants run around freely without consequences?

And racism is nothing new whatsoever. It's always happened everywhere in the world and of course I condemn it, but this is just a blatantly biased media campaign to discredit the Brexit.

Or certain people feeling encouraged to fly their real colours. It's not as if UKIP or the BNP or even Boris would have held back about their opinions on immigrants. You reap what you sow. And if turds crop up, nobody should act all surprised. There are political forces living and thriving on Xenophobia. That has less to do with brexit and more with a general climate encouraged by certain interested parties.
