I’m a middle aged white guy from the Heart of Dixie. I’m skeptical of claims of divine revelation found in ancient mythology and philosophical arguments without verifiable facts to back them up. I’m not nearly as skeptical of scientific theories with broad support across multiple scientific disciplines and generally accept these as the most probable explanation for a given phenomenon based on our current knowledge of the facts. Politically, I consider myself a centrist with tendencies towards physical conservatism and social liberalism.

Why on earth would you look for facts in a discussion of philosophy? Sounds counterproductive to the subject matter.
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

Yes. Christianity is quite prevalent in many aspects of society around here. I often feel like an outsider but could really care less.
