Chicago police: Trump lied about ‘top’ cop telling him ‘tough tactics’ could end crime within a week

Now it seems Trump has flat-out fabricated an encounter he supposedly had with a “top” Chicago police officer.
NBC Chicago is reporting that the Chicago Police Department is pushing back on Trump’s claim that a “top” Chicago cop told him that the city’s violence could be stopped in a week if he were allowed to employ unspecified “tough police tactics.”
“We’ve discredited this claim months ago,” CPD spokesperson Frank Giancamilli said in a statement. “No one in the senior command at CPD has ever met with Donald Trump or a member of his campaign.”

Donald seems to have an alternate reality loop playing in his head.

I'm conflicted. Believe the known liar or the organization that would have a perfectly good reason to lie to save face?

Colorado sheriff arrested for sexually assaulting disabled woman before jailing her

An elected sheriff from a rural county in Colorado has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a developmentally disabled woman at his home before transporting her to jail, court documents showed on Wednesday.

Sedgwick County Sheriff Thomas Hanna faces felony charges of sexual assault of an at-risk adult and sexual conduct with an inmate, as well as misdemeanor counts of official misconduct and soliciting prostitution, an arrest warrant affidavit said.

A city correction officer has been indicted on charges of raping an inmate inside a woman’s jail at Rikers Island.

Jose Cosme, 36, pleaded not guilty Friday to first-degree rape, sexual abuse and other charges for forcing a prisoner to have sex with him inside the Rose M. Singer Center housing unit, the Bronx District Attorney’s Office said.

VIDEO: Cop cruelly blasts 84-year-old black woman in the face with pepper spray — in her own home

Officers were following the woman’s 56-year-old son, Arthur Paul Blackmon, for running a stop sign. Blackmon led police back to his mother’s house and entered, refusing police commands to stop.

An officer kicked in the door and entered the house, and shot Blackmon with an electrical stun gun while he had his hands raised.

Six other officers entered the residence, and Smith emerged from a room before being ordered to turn around. About 40 seconds later, an officer uses pepper spray on her.

6 more cops?  For running a stop sign?  Seems like these fuckers don't have enough to do.

New video reveals NYPD cops fired on unarmed black teen 16 times while he tried to surrender

Newly-released video undermines New York City police’s claim that a teenager was threatening them with a toy gun when they fired at him 16 times during a December 2013 encounter, the New York Daily News reported.

The footage shows Keston Charles, who was 15 years old at the time, running from officers, then limping, then putting his hands up with no sign of the BB gun he was reportedly carrying, which he allegedly took from a friend during a neighborhood fight and used to threaten another boy.

An attorney for the city of New York, Elissa Jacobs, said that Charles “did not put his hands up to surrender before any round of shots,” a statement apparently contradicted by the footage. According to court documents, officials said since Charles was only hit three times, it demonstrated “how fast he continued to move and that the threat to public safety had not been abated.”

No...it demonstrates that your fucking cops need to spend more time at the pistol range and less time at Krispy Kremes.

I thought real hard about where to put this one.  Damned Racists was a possibility... The Second Amendment was another.  I ultimately decided to go with this because the story is about a white guy who causes an accident, pulls out a gun and murders the (black female ) driver he hit.  Yet, unlike so many black males who are either unarmed or carrying toy guns or bb guns this guy was taken into custody in spite of having just used an assault rifle to murder someone.
