I have 2 Pitts and a half bull mastiff. All 3 are terrified of spiders. 
Mine are psychotic death monsters when it comes to moths though. I doubt it would really hurt them to eat a moth but I try to make sure they don't anyway. June bugs are proven to cause puking when eaten in high quantities. That's also true of socks. I have no idea why a dog would eat a sock. >.>

I accidentally let a fly in my house and the kittens went berzerk over it. It was hilarious.
