Well, I guess the tone of this thread has changed.

Apparently there was no change, just several staff including myself weren't reading it properly.

Instead, I'll just apologise again for my hysterical exit from the staff, and I apologise if I've upset anyone in all of this.

Could you stop apologizing already. We get it. You may or may not have made a mistake. You're allowed. No worries! (is that Brit or Aussie?)

I always understood it as all private conversations without consent. So these people might have gotten it wrong.

It's also normal human behavior. It's a breach of trust if you let third parties in on a private conversation without the other one giving consent.

I'm just gonna not worry about it. I've been so heavily invested in the rules for so long, it's a relief not to have to concern myself anymore.

I mean, the rule must cover discussing the contents of conversations and not just quoting them word for word; or else I can tell everyone about a forum PM by summarising it.

If that's the case, I'm happy going forward. I'll let the past be a mystery.
