Except that he wasn't, either in the story or irl, lol. Sounds good though.

He challenged the religious authority of the time, they killed him.
As the story goes, he was taking peoples sins away while he was alive.

Which one have you?

Mark 14:55–59 states that the chief priests had sought witness against Jesus to put him to death but did not find any, so they arranged false witness against him, but their witnesses did not agree together. Mark 14:61 states that the high priest then asked Jesus: "Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said "I am", at which point the high priest tore his own robe in anger and accused Jesus of blasphemy. In Matthew 26:63, the high priest asks: "tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God." Jesus responds "You have said it", prompting the High Priest to tear his own robe,[9][10][11] breaking Mosaic Law (Leviticus 21:10).
In Luke 22:67, Jesus is asked: "If thou art the Christ, tell us. But he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe". But, in 22:70, when asked "Are you then the Son of God?", Jesus answers "You say that I am", affirming the title Son of God.[15] At that point, the priests say "What further need have we of witness? for we ourselves have heard from his own mouth", and they decide to condemn Jesus.[9][10][11]
Thereafter, in Pilate's Court, the Jewish elders ask Pontius Pilate to judge and condemn Jesus—accusing him of claiming to be the King of the Jews.[11]
Nope, in the bible. Mathew 9:2
2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
Titus 3:5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

Quoting the story obviously won;t help you to understand the themes or your mistaken impressions of them if you didn't get them the first time. What's the point?
The jews were not the religious authority of the time and they didn't kill christ, adolf......... additionally, forgiveness of sin doesn't take sin away. It's a good thing these stories don't mean anything to you other than justification for your personal woo, lol.

At least I can support my assertion of the story with the actual story, you just have bare assertion.
You mean the blood sacrifice theme in many pagan religions of the time and past including the worship of Baal? Surely the story of the life of Jesus wasn't altered to support the remaining power structure and the early Church didn't incorporate a ton of pagan practice and iconography..../sarc

Murder implies that a) there was an actual Jesus, and b) what the story tells us about him is actually true.
Now we know that b) is false because for the offence he was supposedly killed for according to the bible, crucifiction isn't the proscribed punsihment. Crucifiction was a punishment under Roman law reserved for traitors or rebels against Rome. Jesus in the bible was a subject of the Iudaean crown, and convicted under sanhedric (jewish religious) law, which mandated that either he be hanged or stoned. And as Iudaea was a client state of Rome and not part of Rome proper, the Roman authorities wouldn't have stepped in to impose their death penalty on local law which proscribed a different death penalty.

Most people come to religion through indoctrination, then stay because of fear. That's hardly noble.
I met alot of people who practice religion not so much out of fear but because they believe they are becoming more caring because of it and less egotistical. And because of such perfect improvement they believe that there is a God.
How is caring for those in one's immediate sight while forsaking the fate of all humanity to the shadow of wishthinking and Bronze Age superstition noble?
