Is religion a force for good in the world?
June 7, 2011 at 11:48 am
Regardless of whether it's true or not, is religion beneficial in general to the human race, would we be worse off without it? I'm inclined to say the world would be a better place without religion, but any arguments contrary are welcome!

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down happy. They told me I didn't understand the assignment. I told them they didn't understand life.

No. It's like a virus that poisons the mind and infects its host in such a way as to propagate itself further!!

Generally speaking, religion is not good for the world, in my opinion. However, I think it is good for some individuals.

This question is quite pointless, considering that most likely religion will still be for a very long time. You won't live to see it.
