Should We Resist Trump?

RE: Should We Resist Trump?
You know the worst thing about all this?  I'm REALLY gonna miss Joe Biden.  He reminds me of that uncle - you know the type:  Well meaning, just a tad off kilter, always has a sweetie in his pocket for you.

Pence might have one too. But for all the wrong reasons.

Oh yeah, Pence is definitely that type of a member of a religious order. The kind that gets bums right close to the wall every time he passes.

So what?!?!?

He is moving LEGALLY With in the law!!! Clinton was SELLING FAVORS FROM THE US STATE DEPARTMENT ILLEGALLY!!!

So in your estimate depriving homeowners and business owners of their hard earned property so the state can have more taxes and the corporations can have more land is perfectly within the spirit of the constitution? Until they try to take something of yours, of course.

I'm not going by who he says he's going to nominate. I'm going by his track record.

BTW, Clinton is not my candidate. Telling me about what she's doing wrong is beating a dead horse. As far as I'm concerned neither of them is worth a shit, and I say that with no ands, ifs or buts about it.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

Seriously? What 'constitutional right' or better yet which amendment says the state can never take your land? It's called imminent domain, and it is the legal right this country has on all the land that falls with in it's borders. That is how the national parks were established!!! That is how the interstates were built, that is how cities are built. When ever the state or a developer like trump can use privately held lands for the betterment of society as a whole, then the state has the right to force the land owner to sell.. You do understand that right? The are given money/market value for their land.

Then you should go by all of it not just pick and choose what you think is the 'dark side' of the man. Besides that, if the worst of the worst you can come up with is him FOLLOWING THE RULE OF LAW, then I think you are upset over nothing.

Seriously, who gets mad when leaders follow the rules that govern all of us?

Resisting Trump would be equivalent to a degree to mitigating/limiting the damage he is going to do.

Mitigating that damage will reduce the impetus to vote contrary to his ideology in future elections.

Better to be stoic, take your whoopin', and hold a deep, deep grudge for the rest of you life, lest we have to learn this fucking lesson AGAIN much too soon.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
