As a noble resident of Massachusetts, I feel compelled to correct this statement. Massachusetts legalized same-sex marriage in May 2004. Hawaii legalized it in December 2013.

So how exactly would that have worked? A same-sex couple got married in Massachusetts, moved to a different state and their marriage wouldn't have been recognised?

Negatron, there was a long standing agreement between states that they would recognize such arrangements made in other states.  OFC, bigots lost their minds when they realized that this was being used to provide cover for sinful unions...and so there was blowback.  All moot point now.

The only thing that has changed is the media narrative of what they expect trump to do. there is a compilation video of trumps ideologies from various interviews stretching back to the 1970's and he has remain consistent on what he thinks is wrong with America and what would have to happen in order for him to step in and change it.

Again go to His website and get his words on each topic and watch it yourself it has not changed.

Putin would like for Trump to grab his Pussy Riot.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

We need to ask Trump one question: Would you hire you for the position you're about to occupy.

I don't expect an honest answer, just an ego trip.

He is simply not going to appoint justices that will repeal the bann on partial birth abortions. The worst thing that could happen is that the abortion subject get De-federalize meaning it will be up to the individual states what they do with abortion which it should be that way and not a mandate one way or the other.

He is also not going after gay marriage. He is simply going to appoint justices that up hold the constitution as the founders indented it. Rather than hillary's ;living document' meaning repeal the bill of rights.

RESEARCH Trump Yourself. He has his intended goals for America on His website. Don't let the crazies do your thinking for you.
I have researched Trump myself and I know the track record he has. I even read one of his books that he authored. The man has no respect for the constitution . As a real estate developer, he had no respect for private property, but took advantage of the 2005 SC ruling that allowed him to use eminent domain to run people out of their homes and businesses so he could build hotels and casinos. That's why there is so much protest. .

Right now, it's up to the woman if she wants to have an abortion. Trump will take that right away from the individual woman and give it to the state. No, I don't think that's the way it should be.

I will also research this idea you have about Hillary repealing the bill of rights. Maybe you're right, but between her and Trump, it's six in one hand, half dozen in the other.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

So do I that is why I am correcting the misinformation that has you tied up in knots.

Quote: I even read one of his books that he authored.
which one?

Quote:The man has no respect for the constitution

Then why is he supporting SCOUTS nominees that are conservatively constitutional?
I think you are confusing your candidate with ours. Trump is looking for nominees that up hold constitutional values. Clinton was looking for judges who saw the constitution as a 'living document, meant to be changed to fit the growing needs (as she saw them) for this country.

2 of the biggest issues were her views on a governmental mandate that sought to "Change deeply seated religious views." concerning abortion. effectively making it illegal for a church to condemn the murder of babies. The second is the repeal of the second amendment in her comment that said "we need to adopt gun laws similar to Austrila."

This is a violation of 2 constitutional rights.

Trump again is nominating people to up hold the traditional understanding of the US constitution. If he is anti constitutional then why oh why is he not nominating SCOUTS that are more in line with what clinton promised to do?

Again info straight from the horses website:

So what?!?!?

He is moving LEGALLY With in the law!!! Clinton was SELLING FAVORS FROM THE US STATE DEPARTMENT ILLEGALLY!!!

How in your mind is it better for clinton to Sell out this country for personal gain, than Trump working well with in the limits of the law?

are you pretending that nothing the wiki leaks uncovered is in fact true? Or are you trying to change the legality of what trump did?

Again I truly never understood how you can justify an illegal action by clinton and hate trump for working well with in the bounds of the law???

Quote:Right now, it's up to the woman if she wants to have an abortion. Trump will take that right away from the individual woman and give it to the state. No, I don't think that's the way it should be.
Are you high, or do you simply not understand how the supreme court works??

Trump has absolutely no direct say in what cases are review by the court. The court made a rulling on abortion in roe-v-wade and trump no matter what he wants to do can not over turn it. Only the justices can decide to review this previous ruling. The reason for this is so that one branch of government has more power over the rest.

All trump can do is elect justices that will not over turn a previous ruling that bans partial birth abortions IF that case is ever brought up or elected by the supreme court to review.

Now let's say trump gets to name 3/4 SCOUTS justices and they do decide to review abortion.. then all it will do is revert back to the way it was before roe-v-wade. Which means the individual states decided whether or not abortion was legal. Meaning if it was not legal in your state then you get one done in a state where it is.

Deeply seated religious views must be changed:
