The Crusades: an ongoing psychological disorder?
#31
RE: The Crusades: an ongoing psychological disorder?
In a place called Gibraltar, well known as the rock,
Three I.R.A scumbags were counting their stock,
When along came some soldiers, they are Britains best,
And they're known the whole world over as the proud S.A.S.

And the I.R.A, were blown away,
Three corpses were left in Gibraltar that day.

Well Dublin she was angry, And so was the Doyle,
For the bomb in Gibraltar the soldiers did foil,
For they planned to murder and leave many for dead,
But the brave S.A.S put their gun to their head.

And the I.R.A, were blown away,
Three corpses were left in Gibraltar that day.

Any other reason given is bollocks to convince the idiots to fight and die.

If the person waging the fight is caring for their people ; i.e. nationalists, I have to agree. Most if if not all wars for expansions took place for that certain cause deep within, but there are wars that simply happened for reasons beyond that.

Take the Ummayad invasion of Spain, I can't see what Spain had but the Levant haden't in terms of resources; I'm sure historians can find more examples. Sometimes it's just a certain reason that needs satisfaction as it seems; like satisfying the psychological need people have to appear stronger.

Don't hate the pope. Leading the religious institution in the dark ages weighs heavily.

Exactly, though you must fix the mess they made because humans love to blame you for the mistakes of your parents.

Middle Eastern populations hate to admit the fact that their parents burned the present of the current populations with their acts, they did exactly like their predecessors so they shall taste the same fate. I mean, it's just a very sad fate to look up to messed up parents.

Bella Morte

I need the chords for that! sounded good TBH.

Let's try something:

These were some interesting stuff, Morte, Bella
To choose this to paste means you're an interesting fella !

You see, I loved sneaking up on Irish stuff
Hearing this and that, melodies that felt nice and on the hearing were not...rough

Stuff..I already said that
Am I mad???

Anyways.... I used to love this

I know I know..'Rose' the 'American angry housewife' falling for the Irish street boy
Who wanted to use her as a sex toy........and succeeded? Drew her naked !!! I mean nudity were indeed needed.

Then you have 'Gangs of New York'. Another masterpiece.
Especially when it pictures Irish gangsters, invading the street.

But honestly, right now I'm hearing this

Here's to you Nicola and Bart.
Rest forever here in the heart.
I need to google them, from the start !
Like...who the fuck is Nicola and Bart?

But I'm a Muslim, so I must say the truth always. Arabs had no right to invade Spain, or Europe. That's why Turkey is now Muslim and Spain is not. Also, Muslims payed a heavy price for their heavy invasions, billions but living in poverty, defeated and broken, look at the Arab world, the most terrible dictators rule them, and their eliites work as slaves under super Kafer powers.

The rationale of Turkey being Muslim is "Might is Right", the native belief system is Hellenism. The same rationale extends to North Africa, Pakistan and Indonesia. Indeed by the same rationale is Europe, Russia and the Americas dominated by christianity.
So by what rationale do you base your complaint?

Spain wasn't attacked by people of the Levant, but by people of North Africa.

I don't mean to point the finger at Atlas in particular, but I find a weird irony in the fact that some Muslims love bitching about "The Crusades!!!", while they clearly forget the 400 years of history that happened immediately before them.

Yknow, like Islam spreading rapidly and very violently across The Middle East, North Africa and into the Mediterranean. Islam had roots being an expansionist religion too, so what's this double standard?

Arabs and Europeans were pretty evenly matched then anyway, it was hardly a massively "unfair" war with a far more powerful side like the later colonial campaigns were. The Mediterranean was basically in a near-constant state of gridlock for 1000 years. The thing that finally pushed it over the edge was when Europeans fell across America, and that gave them an edge with wealth and technological advancement.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable."

Ummayads didn't just attack Spain. They wanting on a wrecking spree in Perisa too. They ancient Persian culture was decimated as the Ummayads decimated the old religions of the area that had peacefully co-existed for millennia before them, actually.

It's a damn shame though, the Crusaders cannot claim the moral high ground. Peter the Hermit in particular stands out as a bit of a noob. The Presents Crusade went across Europe slaughtering Jews before even stepping foot in Arabia. They are no better than the Moors in Spain.
