I once talked to a person who thought the Earth was flat, i asked a few very simple questions which he could not answer, no matter what i said or how hard I tried he was not budging. At a certain point dialog stops with someone like that.

I have not read all of your replies just skimmed over some but it seems like you are denying that many in law enforcement certainly don't behave very honorably.

I have never done that. People accuse me of that but they can't provide a link to a post that supports their claims. This appears to infuriate them. It should. I do point out that the hard numbers don't support mass malfeasance. Min's "990" figure has to be compared with ~1,000,000 cops.

There are 700 to 800 cops at any given time in the U.S. according to Radley Balko's, "Rise of the Warrior cop", a book you should read. It's not just what you see here but all of the other cops in the chain of command that cover up or ignore problems that let cops get away with a lot of shit, even murder. It will continue until something is really done.

So you were only off by a factor of a thousand?

I'm sure his opinion would be fascinating. However, I'm interested in hard numbers. 990 people shot by police in 2015 according to a somewhat dubious source. That's out of 300,000,000 plus, and fails to differentiate between justified shootings and all others.

No, look at it this way. almost one thousand shot out of how many cops on the street, (many work behind a desk) Then include those who cover it up and keep those cops on the force to do it again. The percentages change. You believe what you like I am white and the cops scare me.
