Although a few conceded that they don't look every time .. just after the drag coefficient of the paper over the crack decreases indicating less mess on the track.

I diligently check the paper until all is clear. When I was younger I could afford a couple of quick swipes and hit the road. Now...well...things are not the same. I don't know what topographical changes have occurred over the last 58 years but it seems there are hiding places for poop. TMI I know, but you asked.
