A new little idea for a piece

E minor is a nice key.

For major scales I am a big fan of B major.

As for my three favourite keys I would say it would be B major, E Flat Major and F Sharp Minor.

And I also love to practice with penatonic scales a lot.

Anyways, nice piece. I would love to see where it goes. Kind of makes me want to write something in E minor myself.

I am also thinking about doing some more ambient electronic pieces... with less percussion and more atmosphere.

That's lovely Alex. You are obviously improving.
To me, all keys are the same, soundwise.
Emin is good for piano, not many black notes to play, but Amin is even better. :-)

What I just created sounds like it should belong in a horror movie lol. I dunno if that's a good thing or not lol.

I just cooked it up quickly.

It's a lot creepier than my usual stuff, i.e. this:

They're my latest two. 006 is rather unfinished though... hence the sparseness in the arrangement.

004 is at least complete as version 1.0. 006 is kind of a beta at this stage.

And the creepy E MINOR one was just a quick experiment.

I think 004 is the best instrumental electronica track I've ever written, without a doubt.

Apropos electronica. This remix of an Alison Goldfrapp somg was recommended to me on soundcloud for some reason, and I find it fascinating, especially the drum loops and the minimal melody.
