Watergate II: Lock them up.

Watergate II: Lock them up.
It's over.

Dumbfuck Jr, has admitted that he met with a Russian agent in order to get dirt on Clinton - which he earlier omitted from his story. Now, the NYT is claiming there is an email from an associate of Dumbfuck Jr talking about the Russian governments efforts to help the Trump campaign win the election.

Trump Jr. Was Told in Email of Russian Effort to Aid Campaign

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/10/us/politics/donald-trump-jr-russia-email-candidacy.html?mcubz=1

Quote:WASHINGTON — Before arranging a meeting with a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer he believed would offer him compromising information about Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump Jr. was informed in an email that the material was part of a Russian government effort to aid his father’s candidacy, according to three people with knowledge of the email.
The email to the younger Mr. Trump was sent by Rob Goldstone, a publicist and former British tabloid reporter who helped broker the June 2016 meeting. In a statement on Sunday, Mr. Trump acknowledged that he was interested in receiving damaging information about Mrs. Clinton, but gave no indication that he thought the lawyer might have been a Kremlin proxy.
Mr. Goldstone’s message, as described to The New York Times by the three people, indicates that the Russian government was the source of the potentially damaging information. It does not elaborate on the wider effort by Moscow to help the Trump campaign.
There is no evidence to suggest that the promised damaging information was related to Russian government computer hacking that led to the release of thousands of Democratic National Committee emails. The meeting took place less than a week before it was widely reported that Russian hackers had infiltrated the committee’s servers.

But the email is likely to be of keen interest to the Justice Department and congressional investigators, who are examining whether any of President Trump’s associates colluded with the Russian government to disrupt last year’s election. American intelligence agencies have determined that the Russian government tried to sway the election in favor of Mr. Trump.

So, we have the Trump campaign soliciting a foreign agent from Russia for dirt on their opponents, they knew was apart of a foreign espionage effort.  Yeah, that's kinda of a crime fellas - a major one.

Remember how the right called it fake news, how they called this a conspiracy theory? Well, fuckers,  we told you so.

Jr lawyered up too.

I'm still thinking however, the 'pubs are going to need to see congressional election loses in 2018 before they are going to throw daddy T under the bus.

And don't underestimate the Democrats proven ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, regardless of the caliber and quantity of ammo the 'pubs give them to win with.
Podesta, Weiner, Mook, Coakley, Huma, and Perez are all standing by, waiting to anally douche forth a big heaping stinking pile of FAIL if given even half a chance.

Trump Jr released the email.

And the only way you think it isn't damning is that you literally deny reality. (So basically if you're a fucking Trump supporter)

Three things.

1)This isn't what they're hiding. As others have stated, the Trump mafia isn't going to lift sanctions on Russia in exchange for a few emails - no way. This is about the Trumps seeing dollar signs in Russia cooperation. John Brennan (CIA) is alleged to have received a recording detailing money from the Kremlin going into the Trump campaign - which if true is treason. What they don't want is for Mueller and Congress to start looking at possible financial links, pay-offs, and bribery/fraud. You think Tillerson was made secretary of state over some emails? No way, there was something else to it - money.

2)In light of this Mueller can now run his investigation as he pleases. This now proves to the public (aside from his fanatic diehard base) that Russiagate is not 'fakenews' and they will want this investigation to go deeper. So if they try to impede it, they will only make themselves look worse.

3)Trumps presidency is over. He may still have the seat (for now), but nothing is going to get done - his term his shot. Now, the Dems must capitalize on the public deception, lack of concern for national security, and corruption of the Trump campaign.

It is not treason according to American law.

No doubt other laws were broken.

Well . . .

even the likes of Charles Krauthammer says there is some there there now. Interesting.

Got my attention. Hannity didn't pick up on it, but OK with me if Sean rides it clear to the ground.

Well..... let's not go overboard.

Quote:The Constitution of the United States, Art. III, defines treason against the United States to consist only in levying war against them, giving them aid or or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid or comfort.

The first part, no.  The bolded part?  The jury is still out.

It's my understanding that de jure, "enemy" is defined as a nation upon which we have formally declared war, or a non-state actor with whom we are trading shots. That's why Jane Fonda wasn't prosecuted for her visit to and "giving comfort to" North Vietnam.

Speaking personally, I regard the Shitgibbon's actions as treasonous in spirit, but that isn't what can be prosecuted. All the talk of his committing treason ignores the fact that personal feelings don't define crimes.

I also found the trend worrying among liberals to label Russia an enemy in order to render the Trump campaign's deeds more dramatic.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
