I knew a guy that pirated Fl studio. I guess you get it, but he had to use an older version because the newer one wasn't cracked yet.

I feel very strongly about intelllectual property and that sort of thing. I don't even pirate game of thrones.

It's not that I harshly judge others that do it, but for myself it would feel like stealing.

It's just Pool knows I think he's a complete asswipe (and I think it with good reason because he is one) and he asked me to tutor him on FL studio knowing full well that he's the last person on earth I'd tutor. He just came here to troll my thread and then deleted his comment when I called him out on it. (Which I am pretty sure is against the rules so I am going to report him for it).

Okay first of all - retired staff person - you know damn well that when you make a thread, anyone is allowed to post in it. You don't get to pick and choose who can or can't post here. Pool has created threads in the past where you've gone in and antagonized him and didn't think anything of it. He comes in here - said nothing ignorant that I can see and you got rude.  

Second - I wasn't sticking up for anyone. I merely pointed out how harsh you were being. Try not to read more into things than what's really there. 

And third, regarding whats in bold - What the fuck is that supposed to mean? I don't know what your problem is, but you might want to pick your battles more carefully.

Yeah deleting the comment was wrong. But seeing your reaction to his harmless comment - I fail to see how he was going against the rules for it. I'm pretty sure that the mods can see what was originally there and will make the proper determination that what he said wasn't at all ignorant. People are only responsible for what they say, not how you choose to take it. 

If anything, you're the one who's escalated this into what it is now. Really, I can picture you now, boiling over with anger over the fact that someone isn't taking your side and coddling you so that your precious feelings don't get hurt. You're an adult. You post in an adult forum. Get used to the fact that anyone can post on any thread they please. Your other option is to continue to have meltdowns over seemingly harmless posts. Either way - people are going to see exactly how you behave when dealing with this sort of shit. 

Guess I expected you to be the bigger (read: adult) person because at the end of the day - it's a goddamned post. It's not like he's right next door and can do anything to you. This thread is really unfortunate. I have some experience with FL Studio, and I would have enjoyed talking about it. wtf is with the personal attacks and bullshit?



Anyway, it is a really great program. I love the feel of it, the look of it, it performs well, it has a lot of features. There are also a LOT of videos all over youtube about how to achieve current effects with it for people who are into that kind of thing.
