Ethics of sex robots

Reminds me of an artice I spotted today. Apparently Saudi Arabia gave citizenship to a female robot, albeit not a sexrobot. Interesting how they're more interested in the rights of a robot than their actual women, maybe Saudis will start to fight for equal rights between robots and sexrobots?

Fearing the men will prefer sex robots to women or will begin treating women as sex robots sounds a little irrational.
And if some men do, wouldn't women want them eliminated from the dating/relationship pool?

Orally pleasuring a 'male' sex bot without actual male pheromones/funk, without actual human semen, and knowing it's response is electro-mechanical instead of organic is going to be a tough sell to me.

I would not stick my pecker into one of those... However! If they could program one of those to adequately simulate sex (with enough variations to keep it interesting) then they could make a chorebot. They already have those vacuuming bots but I am talking sweeping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, feed and walk dog, do dishes, etc. I am not being sexist. I would not demand this chorebot look like Audrey Hepburn in a French maid outfit. Hell, I don't care if it looks like a pogo stick. If it gets the job done , I am on board!

I think its stupid and will just further encourage the desperation and demand for sex. Sex will become more mechanical while less passionate and intimate. Hence men will even more likely treat women as such. Are we seriously becoming that desperate that we are willing to have sex with robots for a quick relief?
