RE: What would you do if you found out God existed

What god and how do we know anything about it, including whether or not it's there at all?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Sure it does; I don't see you scrambling to profess your belief in monsters under the bed.
By all means, believe in the existence of absolutely everything for which we have no evidence to support its existence; don't blame me for calling you out on your delusion.
My bold.
You're creating a strawman.
I never said we should believe in every single thing that there is no concrete proof of.
I said we shouldn't automatically discard the possibility of absolutely everything there is no immediate, concrete proof of. This is obvious. We can make assumptions, make guesses, theorize, believe certain things, etc. We do it all the time.
Special pleading. There is eactly one more thing without evidence which you support that I don't. Your god isn't deserving of gullible acceptance simply because a portion of the world believes he exists.
Or to put it another way to accept your argument as valid we must, perforce, believe that dragons fairies Lugh Vishnu Odin Quetzovercoatl and hundreds of thousands other unevidenced things to be true also.

If he proved himself to me, and that he was good, of course I wouldn't angrily hate him. Of course I'd start respecting him. But maybe I'd request that I do not participate in the afterlife.
Here's the thing, most atheists disbelieve not out of hate, but because there is no proof. If we were presented with proof, most of us would believe, I think. At least that applies to most the atheists I have spoken to.

Your comment fails on it's most important detail:
A god of this planet could not claim or prove it was completely good. It is fact there is evil and if there is evil it is also fact that god created it and it is therefore not completely good.
If I thought that god was completely good then I would also realise it was a deception i.e. I would believe a god existed but have no interest or desire to followi it.
