Atheists don't realize asking for evidence of God is a strawman

They never claimed it can withstand scientific scrutiny. You're going to see a lot of claims everywhere(like Harry Potter has a magic wand) but unless they claim that it can withstand scientific scrutiny it doesn't make sense to subject them to scientific scrutiny. If that were the case anything and everything can be subject to scientific scrutiny even if they never claimed they can withstand it. Say you do subject something that never claimed it can withstand scientific scrutiny to scientific scrutiny and then you get the result that it cannot withstand scientific scrutiny - what did you achieve? You achieved nothing because guess what you proved something they NEVER claimed! It's meaningless.

Works of fiction and religious works are COMPLETELY different.

You just said "Sorry, but until you do find evidence then it's unproven." but you won't apply that standard here...

We have evidence for trilobites, fossils. We don't have evidence for angels, n fossils.

Your pettifogging is tedious.

Anywhere an existential claim about reality is made, such as the existence of unicorns, bigfoot, or gods.

You've been told this before.

That doesn't make any sense then you'll have to subject all the movies, comics etc to scientific scrutiny even though they never claimed they can withstand scientific scrutiny.

OK, pool, what sort of evidence would you require to believe a claim that I have a mint Superman #1 in my possession?

Well if you're comparing the bible to harry potter and comic books, we're halfway there!

I'm simply reiterating that your argument and reasoning is entirely circular.  It's illogic is simple and blatant.

I'm not saying you actually say that Bible is a scientific text. I'm saying it's a soft claim you make when you demand scientific evidence from a religious text--

Literally no one here is demanding scientific evidence from the Bible. That doesn't even make sense. You're simply asserting it, when actual atheists are telling you, right now, that they are NOT making that claim. Straw, Pool. We can, however, demand scientific evidence for the truth of its claims.
