OK, so on to the Playoff Pick'Em League, which is completely separate from the regular season, so if you failed to win a top spot in the regular season, you can still clinch victory in the playoffs!
Here's how it works. You must predict the winners of every playoff game (including the Super Bowl) before the playoffs starts. You will get 1 point for a wild card round win (because you know who will be playing), 3 points for a divisional round win, 5 points for a conference championship win, and 7 points for a Super Bowl win. Here are the picks I need from you by Friday January 6th: Wild Card Round: Titans (9 - 7) @ Chiefs (10 - 6) Falcons (10 - 6) @ Rams (11 - 5) Bills (9 - 7) @ Jaguars (10 - 6) Panthers (11 - 5) @ Saints (11 - 5) Divisional Round: Falcons (10 - 6) OR Panthers (11 - 5) OR Saints (11 - 5) @ Eagles (13 - 3) Bills (9 - 7) OR Titans (9 - 7) OR Chiefs (10 - 6) @ Patriots (13 - 3) Jaguars (10 - 6) OR Chiefs (10 - 6) OR Titans (9 - 7) @ Steelers (13 - 3) Rams (11 - 5) OR Saints (11 - 5) OR Panthers (11 - 5) @ Vikings (13 - 3) Conference Championships: Patriots (13 - 3) OR Steelers (13 - 3) OR Jaguars (10 - 6) OR Chiefs (10 - 6) OR Titans (9 - 7) OR Bills (9 - 7) Eagles (13 - 3) OR Vikings (13 - 3) OR Rams (11 - 5) OR Saints (11 - 5) OR Panthers (11 - 5) OR Falcons (10 - 6) Super Bowl Patriots (13 - 3) OR Eagles (13 - 3) OR Steelers (13 - 3) OR Vikings (13 - 3) OR Jaguars (10 - 6) OR Rams (11 - 5) OR Chiefs (10 - 6) OR Saints (11 - 5) OR Titans (9 - 7) OR Panthers (11 - 5) OR Bills (9 - 7) OR Falcons (10 - 6) I will help people out if they are confused or manage to pick impossible winners (i.e. if you pick the Eagles to win the Super Bowl but have them losing the Divisional round) but in order to do this I need your picks sooner than later. Thanks
When will we get the list of playoff brackets?
Also note that your picks from the wild card round will be up against specific opponents in the divisional round based on their seed. Seed values can be found here: http://www.nfl.com/playoffs/playoff-picture
Put simply, if you pick the Titans and Jaguars to win the AFC wild card, then the divisional games will be: Titans @ Patriots Jaguars @ Steelers This is because the Jaguars have a higher seed than the Titans, and the higher seed always faces the #2 seed (Steelers) in the divisional round. The lower seeded Titans would face the #1 seed (Patriots).
My playoff picks are in.
Mine are too.... Tiberius wasn't too happy with my SB choice as it wasn't the Patriots
